Helping meet these needs is WolfVision, one of the leaders in the audio-video industry, offering efficient, innovative, and cost-effective presentation and collaboration products. In conversation with CIO Applications, Arthur Jenni, the president, and CEO of WolfVision, mentions how the company’s user-friendly, high performing, and flexible visualizer imaging systems can be utilized by leading organizations worldwide to enable faster and more effective communications. The company also offers Cynap presentation and collaboration systems with a multi-functional, flexible interface offering easy access to all types of information from any source. “Over the past 25 years, WolfVision has created a collection of AV collaboration solutions that are implemented and adopted in many areas of education, corporate, healthcare, legal, and also in the government environment,” begins Jenni.
What are some of the challenges your clients face regarding audiovisual collaboration, and how has WolfVision positioned itself to address them?
Over the last few years, there has been a growing trend among several corporations and training environments to shift from hardware-based video conferencing to a more personalized experience through their web conferencing systems. What this brought about was a shift from using fixed workstations to personalized computing devices, including smartphones and laptops. People were trying to be more mobile and flexible while wanting means of communication from any location. The use of personal devices blurred the boundary between a personal device and a device meant for the workplace. This posed the challenge of seamlessly interlinking these personal devices within the workplace environment without compromising on security and privacy. Device compatibility and connectivity is also a big issue. With our hardware and software solutions, we can create opportunities for corporations to offer employees seamless accessibility to audiovisual presentations via their devices without compromising security. In effect, we offer our clients an environment to work in unison and allow customers to support different standards and access to several devices that are being used in their offices.
What is the philosophy WolfVision upholds when it comes to helping clients, and how do your clients benefit from your offerings?
Our philosophy as an organization is to build products and support tools that encourage the sharing of knowledge with one another, especially in collaboration, training, and education-al environments.
By offering a streamlined way to communicate, we enable our clients to work together more efficiently. We view ourselves as a manufacturer who creates solutions to support the process of idea-sharing
Is there a particular customer success story that you could share with us?
One very significant use case where we were able to help our client the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court that services more than 1-3 million residents in Orange and Osceola Counties. The court was constantly challenged with the existing issues of connectivity incompatibility, which often delayed the court proceedings. They needed a suitable solution that would be reliable, self-supportive, and attorneys could easily use. The Cynap system fulfilled every requirement and exceeded their expectations. At present, 30 courtrooms are equipped with Cynap systems along with WolfVision’s VZ-8light4 Visualizers that offer best-of-breed imaging solutions.
The Cynap system was also the go to versatile, multi-functional AV/IT appliance for the University of Tennessee, a public research university located in Knoxville, Tennessee. It is the flagship campus of the University of Tennessee system with around 29,000 students and almost 1,600 full-time instructional faculty. With the implementation of over 200 Cynap systems, it is the standard for their learning spaces throughout the campus. The Cynap system provides a flexible, multi-source, reliable, and upgradable collaboration environment for improved student and instructor engagement.
Our systems are cost-effective, easy to use and train, and allow clients to use their own de-vices with complete comfort.
