“Prior to starting Web Welder, I worked in public relations, website design, and development. But after being diagnosed with an auto-immune disease that rendered me a wheelchair user, I decided to quit the perks of New York City, and relocate to Colorado to start my career from scratch,” narrates Wheaton. “I anticipated the power of the digital age and without a second thought, I decided to jump right into it.
” In an interaction with CIO Applications, Wheaton talks about how the digital age has changed the face of several industries today and how Web Welder is helping businesses align with this change.
Please walk us through the approach that you undertake while engaging with clients.
At Web Welder, our goal is always to prioritize clients’ needs. That’s why all our client engagement starts with an assessment. That acknowledgment did propel my business into the foodservice industry. I’m also proud of mentioning that the client has successfully turned his business from a food truck into a brick-and-mortar location and then into airports. Today, his company has become a national brand. We have also been referred to a client in Vanuatu, a country situated 300 miles east of New Zealand. The owner had personally flown into Denver to collaborate with us on a DAM solution for his business. The response of him flying to meet us personally was indeed heartfelt.
