Could you give me a bit of an overview of the company and background on how you got started?
Tackle Ai dynamically recognizes unstructured data in documents. Unstructured data appears in the form of text, XML, emails, images, media, videos, and more, resulting in a surge of new data types. Any business needs to solve this problem as this type of data contains high-value information about the company. The unstructured data can be seen in healthcare, business, legal, finance, and military services, where tons of data comes in every second. Most organizations are unable to access the critical information contained in an unstructured database. Gartner predicts that white-collar workers will spend 30 to 40 percent of their time managing such unstructured datasets. Tackle Ai uses a proprietary mathematical algorithm layer and machine learning to create an advanced AI network. As a result, we can process documents and extract valuable information like humans, with zero error and at a fraction of the cost. With Tackle Ai, you don’t have to pre-train your documents with our AI to apply our solution. We’ve looked at millions of other records and many other things that our AI has learned from those documents, translated into newer forms.
Our AI is more grounded to everyday businesses and catering to their need of automating workflows, making them more efficient, and extracting that “difficult to get” information
All of the programming code we write is done internally. We don’t outsource any of our development and it’s all built by people here in Chicago. When I hire people, I want them to know that they will do things they have never done before. For example, we can look at any document that comes through a hospital. Once we recognize what it is—say a prescription or an MRI report—the AI can tell you who the patient is, who the doctor was that ordered it, which lab conducted the test and what the procedure was. We can then populate that data into the electronic health record systems dynamically. Tackle Ai reduces the workflow time from 48 hours to less than a second at a sub one percent error rate.
Can you explain your methodology and how your customers can directly use your solution? Our software requires little or no customization since it is a ‘readymade’ solution for customers. Because we’re so automated our clients require no servicing, our AI can do most of the work for them. There are some substantial clients that we work with, such as the Department of Defense, where we build custom solutions for the Air Force. But for the most part, we work with businesses that possess invoices or documents, providing turn-key solutions. Some of our clients prefer customization, while others can go off the shelf. The most significant benefit a client can leverage from a turnkey solution is saving the company time and money.
Could you provide a customer success story that reflects how you were able to identify the unique challenge for a customer and deploy the solutions to help them out?
Since we came to the AI industry, we have worked with various clients ranging from healthcare to legal, finance and defense. That being said, we recently helped Vanderbilt University in dealing with their MOCA documents. Our AI allows them to understand better how people glean data from mental images. Earlier, the tests were done by humans, and they were graded manually. But the investigation revealed a lot of human errors, so the customer reached out to us and we a prepared solution using our AI. Now, the university has a solution, the Tackle Ai engine, that is reading and confirming the accuracy of the scores provided for the completed MOCA tests.
Our customers continually ask us to push the limits of what our AI can accomplish. We recently launched a new product in the market called Tackle Vision. It offers massive amounts of unstructured documents a system to quickly and accurately extract deconstructed data better than ever done before. Tackle Vision is used in conjunction with our other proprietary neural networks to distinguish this system from all other systems on the market. Our new system will recognize whether the document has been signed or not, and if the form has any press stamps or other unique markings. In addition, it will identify if any handwritten notes are within the document and will read what those notes say. Tackle Vision is genuinely able to understand and identify all parts of a document just like a human would do with their eyes. The commercial version of Tackle Vision is available now, and additional development will continue on the system to further improve its data discovery, speed, and accuracy. By the end of 2021, we will increase our commitment to existing clients, projects, and vision systems to maximize their benefits and capabilities.
Could you talk about the people behind the development of these solutions?
At Tackle Ai, we always believe in hiring talent from different backgrounds, skills, experience, and knowledge means that there will be an increase in innovative and creative ideas. It has a positive impact on the longevity of the business. When creating custom software, you need to make sure your team represents everyone. Doing so provides Tackle Ai with a glimpse of different cultures and backgrounds which helps bring new skillsets and experiences to our development process. Our team consists of specialists in software development and neural networks. An open-concept office enables our teams to work together and exchange ideas, ultimately helping businesses reach new heights.
