As a cybersecurity firm dedicated to providing top-tier solutions for the Defense and the Intelligence Community, Secure Innovations develops and deploys innovative solutions to solve the information security concerns and identity management issues their customers encounter. From protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their customers’ critical data, to engineering data collaboration solutions across various coalitions; Secure Innovations provides their customers with the strategies and architectures they need to ensure their success.
“Secure Innovations was founded because we wanted to be different and we want to be the best cybersecurity company out there. We are not the typical company that just chases any business opportunity. We strive to build and maintain a company that is all about our employees, our customers, and our partners. We grew tired of companies that worried more about the bottom line than delivering solutions to their customers. We also grew tired of companies that treat their employees as a number. When you work at Secure Innovations, you are a part of the team. When you hire Secure Innovations, you hire a team that always delivers their best,” says CEO Doug Jeruzal.
The security engineering firm has taken an extra effort to create the next generation of cyber security professionals by partnering with The Applications and Research Laboratory (ARL), a Centralized Career Academy High School in Howard County. The company works with the Early College Program in Cybersecurity Academy, a dual enrollment program with Howard Community College, to offer student internships and provide hands-on classroom demonstrations on topics such as Kali Linux, networking and network mapping, coding, and web app testing.

With Secure Innovations on your side, you have a clear path through accreditation and compliance issues that can slow down deployment
The Secure Innovations Cybersecurity & Accreditation (C&A) teams are Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation specialists and cybersecurity experts, leading over hundreds of projects through certification each year. Acting as both security consultants and testers, the C&A team leads projects to certification through the RMF, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), and DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation (DIACAP) processes. Our Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)-certified C&A personnel leverage a variety of skill sets — including documentation, software and system testing, vulnerability, penetration, compliance testing, and system administration. They are also highly capable of serving a variety of roles, such as Information System Security Officers and Engineers (ISSOs and ISSEs), in-house compliance analysts, and on-site security assessors. Their knowledge of best practices gathered through many engagements across a wide range of government and technology standards can help simplify and streamline what might normally be a laborious and time-intensive process. The Secure Innovations staff also hold security clearances up to the TS/SCI level, which allows them to personally assist with products and customers at the deployment site.
SI expert capabilities are the backbone for ASSESS: Automate the RMF process
Organizations often utilize disparate tools to contribute to their overall network security posture and compliance requirements. However, in many cases, these tools, along with their reports and datasets, are not interconnected for ease of reporting and visualization. Secure Innovations developed the Automated Scalable Solution for Enterprise System Security (ASSESS) to automate many of the RMF tasks formerly done by hand. ASSESS coordinates intelligence from all organizational IA tools, regardless of vendor or format, and generates actionable global visualization in support of the Certification and Accreditation process at all levels. This leads Chief Information Security Officers and IA teams to obtain better access, visualization, and overall confidence in their IT security posture.
ASSESS provides fast implementation and non-disruptive integration, without affecting the accreditation of existing tools and systems. ASSESS was developed to integrate security data with multiple and overlapping customer boundaries. This allows support from all levels of oversight, from engineers to executive staff.
With Secure Innovations on your side, you have a clear path through accreditation and compliance issues that can slow down or even derail an otherwise successful deployment. Their expertise provides a smoother and automated process during implementation in an environment of complex or multiple accreditation requirements.
