The partnership development program of Ramp Systems enables customers to contribute ideas and request for product enhancements. “Customer feedbacks contribute significantly to our Research and Development (R&D),” comments Mozhdehi. End-user requested features are designed in a community-based model and implemented free of cost.

The company also has a complete, highly configurable integration software product that enables Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) between systems to meet business integration requirements at a low cost. The software is compatible with new technologies like Applicability Statement 2 (AS2) as well as legacy systems like Value Added Network (VAN) based EDI or protocols like FTP and HTTP. Besides, it also supports nearly every commonly used document formats like EDI, XML, Jason, and Flat Files spreadsheets that can communicate internally with many applications to translate data and meet business requirements.

In one instance, Ramp Systems helped a client in the logistics domain by delivering a tailor-made WMS solution that allowed them to have customizable online stores for Business to Consumer (B2C) fulfillment and interfaced in real-time with WMS. The software had inventory capabilities as well as the ability to process consumer orders. With Ramp Systems’ solution, the client could address the challenges of a vast range of customers and without requiring custom coding or any other system modification. “This saved a lot of time and cost, and increased business value for the client,” adds Mozhdehi.
