How would you define ppx-tec’s core competencies?
ppx-tec’s smartphone apps, designed for Android and iPhone platforms, act as a mobile medical data exchange storage application for patients and caregivers alike. The apps allow them to store their medical data and access it when required, as well as share it with multiple departments or individuals. We have created PPX Mobile Application to send and receive data from any human population platforms and enhanced PPX to function globally.PPX integrates in platforms such as Electronic Health Records, Insurance, Social Services Entities, Pharmacology and potentially any human population.
How does ppx-tec address challenges faced by care organizations while accessing medical data?
A majority of care organizations and care seekers experience issues while accessing their medical records. Rising to this challenge, we have designed our ppx-tec app to be compatible with all human data. The main objective behind this app is to empower users in attaining access to corresponding insurance and social services. Also, we have a passive web service added to this app, which communicates with the devices that control the app natively; this is used to facilitate secure data transfer across the BlueButton and AdvancedMD systems.
ppx-tec offers four significant components, namely Bluetooth technology, Bluetooth Piconets, Tokens and PIN to open which are interrelated with each other in the data transfer process. For instance, in case patients wish to transfer their medical data to their doctor, they can do so by connecting their devices with that of the doctor’s via a Bluetooth platform. The doctor then shares an eight-digit Token with the patient through a secure Bluetooth Piconet, which is inaccessible by other individuals that are part of the ecosystem.

In a second scenario where patients or doctors require sharing health records with the staff at hospitals or other care providers, they can choose the respective record from the app and share it with the rest of the team at the facility, with one click of a button.
What makes ppx-tec unique in the Healthcare Space?
We have gone that extra mile to make our data sharing app versatile; users can take charge of their medical history and share it with the caregivers at the facility, including any provider type. The data format is completely compatible with all devices, making it easier for users to store data in their laptops or PCs. In addition, ppx-tec also provides a cutting-edge component to the care providers for attaining easy and broader access to the patient data. We take pride in collaborating with all healthcare firms, in an attempt to eliminate the issues small and medium-sized care facilities experience while treating patients. Instead of charging our clients for the app, we only charge for the license integration that is required to link the apps with EHR systems. Added to that, our Bluetooth PPX can also be used to improve healthcare procedures in rural areas as the devices can be easily connected to the EHR systems without any internet access. PPX is innovative and will be impactful globally.

We have been humbled by the positive feedback received from people diagnosed with HIV. Being a sensitive medical condition, most patients prefer concealing this information from their employers and even their family members. ppx-tec’s revolutionary data transfer app has provided these patients with the privilege of keeping the information of their diagnosis and treatment secure and inaccessible by other individuals.
How does the future look like for ppx-tec?
Currently, our goal for the near future is to keep expanding the organizational footprint and improving the solution sets offered to clients. We are working to broaden the accessibility of our product portfolio across care facilities while enhancing the features of the solution sets. For example, our teams are working on the integration of images, doctor signatures, and photo ID capabilities into the app. We are also planning to enable our users to manage prescriptions within the app itself, ensuring that none of the data is manipulated or lost while doing so. We are on a path to improving patient matching and cross platform utilization.
