This way, the company helps clients retain their visitors and convert them into loyal audiences, enabling them to succeed.
While conversing with the CIO Applications’ editorial team, Krassimir Fotev, the Founder of Peerbelt, shares his insights on how the company leverages its expertise and experience to help businesses keep their users engaged with their websites.
Could you give us a brief overview of Peerbelt?
We are a New Jersey-based leading content curation firm that is always passionate about replacing the conventional timeline media model and helping businesses make a world of difference in delivering content to users. In our efforts to bring something new to the table, we identified that the best way to prioritize information is by discovering the human aspect —that is,understanding readers’ preferences, knowledge, and the individual’s ability torecognize instinctively what matters. This resulted in the creation of a powerful solution that can prioritize the content based on collective and implicit behavioral human curation.
At the core, our solution has a unique patented technology that combines Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques with behavioral curation. It empowers our clients’ websites and other platforms to make recommendations and offer users theideal content they are looking for when needed.By doing this, we can reduce the bounce rate by 10-18 percent, increase the total reader’s time on-site up to 3x, provide clients with better chances for further pursuing users into taking important actions for their site business, and thereby increase their ROI.

Could you shed some light on Peerbelt’s clientele and some of the challenges they come across?
I’d say one of the most successful applications of Peerbelt’s robust tech stack is crowd-sourced platforms where content volume continues to rise exponentially. But what impedes their operational excellence is duplicated and low-qualitycontent that makes their websites extremely complicated and time-consuming in terms of finding the right pool of data. This is precisely where Peerbelt comes into play with its patented technology solution. It helps us narrow down the pool of content according to users’ needs and even filter out low-quality videos.
We can collaborate with clientsthat hold a high-quality content pool. For instance, we recently implemented our tech-stack in a website that delivers cooking recipes to successfully enable them to provide users with the best content they are looking for. Peerbelt also holds longstanding experience in handling the content prioritization needs of several media firms. When it comes to this specific industry, editors want to exercise precise control over the content published and recommended to users, which is not completely based on user leads. We tailor our solution accordingly to meet their specific needs without disrupting their business and statutory regulations.
How does Peerbelt’s client interaction look like?
At Peerbelt, we are totally client-focused,so we strive to keep the integration process as simple as possible. Unlike a typical content curation firm that depends on structured data, we leverage a simple piece of JavaScript code that can be embedded into the page for collecting behavioral statistics. It is built to quickly obtain readers’ requirements by evaluating their passive activities, including clicking, typing, scrolling, reading, persistence, social contributions, and waiting. Our solution then gathers information from the JavaScript code, analyzes it, and provides the best content as recommendations to users in real-time. Designed with an unrivaled self-training capability, it can continuously learn from online behavior, augment its potential, and grow smarter, helping clients create a more productive and satisfying web experience.
More importantly, while things look simple for the client, our backend process is more sophisticated, highly scalable, and capable of handling millions of requests. We achieve this by embracing a couple of advanced technologies, including Cassandrathat collects the behavioral data points and textual content as well as ElasticSearch, at its core.
How does the future look for Peerbelt?
The pandemic has created a massive uptick in businesses’ migration towards the digital environment and a substantial increase in the online traffic for content. This is, in fact, a driving force for us to expand our business and extend our customer base. At Peerbelt, we tirelessly work to enhance our capabilities to better serve our existing clients and reach out to new players in the space. We also have plans to take a strategic move toward mobile applications as most businesses are opening themselves to mobile platforms, and readers are jumping on the mobile bandwagon. Another area that we intend to extend our footprints is the application of our technology for online stores.
Making a full circle here, I’d say Peerbelthas been born as and is a perfect personal search engine.
From my perspective, I do miss the initial releases of the tech capable of tying my fragmented online world together, giving me quick access to anything that mattered and still matters to me as an individual. This is a big undertaking contingent upon finding and securing the right partnerships.
