Nintex’s workflow capabilities and mobile solutions are compatible with both SharePoint and Office 365. The organizations can boost productivity by collaborating and linking Office 365 workflows to a slew of cloud services such as Yammer, Box, Twitter, and virtual machines in real-time. Nintex also extends web services, without having to go through a complicated process of writing codes. To allow organizations initiate workflows outside the SharePoint environment, Nintex provides External Start that helps them build workflows based on data or actions that happen across entire business ecosystem. In addition, Nintex delivers workflows that are compatible with mobile devices to facilitate organizations leverage the features of the same such as images, attachments and geolocation to expedite the processes. The company’s Mobile Enterprise app enables organizations to create a collection of Nintex Forms and workflow tasks. “Nintex takes the work out of workflow, enabling users to build sophisticated forms and processes quickly and easily,” says Burton.
For instance, the company assisted BGC Engineering, a Canadian professional services firm, to optimize its field information capture and customer reporting processes through a mobile solution that lowered the number of multiple customer site visits and dispensable data gathering. Through Nintex Mobile, Nintex Forms, and Nintex Workflow, data collection in remote field location was made easier as the process was completely automated. BGC users were able to access dynamic workflows and forms from anytime and anywhere, replacing eliminated paper-based processes with mobile data capture. Additionally, the engineers were able to receive real-time feedback from the office by initiating processes in the field.
