Mortgage Relief is an easy-to-implement, scalable, and flexible solution for agencies created by Yardi developers using decades of software experience and input from government partners.
FREMONT, CA: Following the success of the Yardi Rent Relief platform, which has handled over $1 billion in emergency rental assistance payments, the firm declared the launch of Mortgage Relief. Mortgage Relief is a software platform used by state agencies to manage homeowner assistance programs administered by the American Rescue Plan (ARP).
The ARP enacted in March 2021 set aside $9.3 billion for homeowner assistance for persons affected by COVID-19. Funding is distributed directly to states, territories, and Native American tribes for administration. Eligible households may receive funding to help with mortgage payments, utility bills, and some home maintenance costs.
Mortgage Relief is an easy-to-implement, scalable, and flexible solution for agencies created by Yardi developers using decades of software experience and input from government partners. Applications for homeowner aid can be submitted by either the homeowner or a lender on the homeowner's behalf. Most cash will be paid straight to mortgage holders and utility companies.
"We're excited that this all-in-one solution is implementable now for government agencies as they work to effectively distribute ARP funds," stated Jeff Bischoff, senior director of sales at Yardi. "Mortgage Relief provides a seamless way to collect applications, manage cases, make payments securely and monitor program performance."
