New infection monitoring and immunization dashboard inside the Yardi EHR allows health care workers to record that a resident has received, refused or missed appointments for COVID-19 vaccinations.
Fremont, CA: New features of the Yardi EHR electronic health record system help senior community operators effectively maintain the COVID-19 vaccine records as well as track health symptoms that could suggest the existence of coronavirus. The new functionality emerged from the Yardi Senior Living Program, which was released in 2020 to simplify vaccine record keeping.
New infection monitoring and immunization dashboard inside the Yardi EHR allows health care workers to record that a resident has received, refused or missed appointments for COVID-19 vaccinations. The newly added evaluation documents any side effects that vaccine recipients may have. The assessment provides recommendations for the administration of coronavirus vaccines by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The third portion of the dashboard tracks gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, or other measures of infectious diseases such as pneumonia, influenza, and hepatitis. The framework produces an automatic warning for any symptom associated with COVID-19 that could be used by communities for prompt testing.
"These built-in assessments are much easier to navigate than custom tables and other manual methods," stated Ray Elliott, vice president of senior living for Yardi. "Yardi EHR clients will be able to generate comprehensive vaccination reports for a single resident or an entire community with equal ease."
