Verta Secures $10M in Series A Round of Financing
Verta, a Palo Alto, CA-based AI/ML model management and operations company, closed $10M in Series A funding.

Vartak, who has worked at Microsoft, Facebook, Google, and Twitter in software engineering and machine learning roles, created ModelDB, the first open-source modern model management system, during her PhD at MIT’s CSAIL lab. ModelDB is largely used in the industry and Fortune 500 companies today and forms the backbone of Verta.
FREMONT, CA: Verta, a Palo Alto, CA-based AI/ML model management and operations company, closed $10M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Intel Capital with active participation from General Catalyst.

Led by Manasi Vartak, founder and CEO, Verta offers AI/ML model management and operations software for enterprise data science teams to manage inherently complex model-based products. Its production-ready systems allow data science and IT operations teams to focus on their strengths and rapidly bring AI/ML advances to the market.
