The new data center would be the first in the St. Louis metropolitan region outside the city limits. It will get built-in Westport, Missouri, a thriving commercial and entertainment center in St. Louis County.
FREMONT, CA: TierPoint, a top provider of secure, connected data center and cloud solutions, announced today that it intends to expand in Missouri. The IT firm is investing 20 million dollars in constructing a new 23,000 square foot Tier III data center in the St. Louis area. TierPoint now operates three sites in Missouri, one in Kansas City and two in St. Louis.

The new data center will be the first of its kind in the St. Louis metropolitan region outside the city limits. It will get built-in Westport, Missouri, a thriving commercial and entertainment center in St. Louis County.

TierPoint's latest investment in Missouri will raise the company's total employment in the state to over 75 people. Missouri Partnership collaborated with AllianceSTL, a Greater St. Louis, Inc. effort, and Ameren Missouri to bring this project to the state. TierPoint runs 40 data centers across the United States, providing thousands of clients with a complete portfolio of cloud, colocation, and other digital infrastructure solutions.
