Syxsense Expands Enterprise Integration with Secure API
Syxsense API exports and imports data, including OS, program, device health, network settings, and more, to ensure that systems interact efficiently.
FREMONT, CA: Syxsense, a global leader in IT and security management solutions, declares the release of their Open API to easily integrate and share data between Syxsense Secure and other enterprise Security and IT solutions. The new REST API expands on the powerful Syxsense Inventory data. Syxsense API exports and imports data, including OS, program, device health, network settings, and more, to ensure that systems interact efficiently. The foundation of the Syxsense API is flexible information transfer and display between cloud-nativeSyxsense and any critical business solutions such as a Helpdesk or Asset Management application. Syxsense expands its solution to partners, major organizations, MSPs, and MSSPs by making data reusable natively.
The API is available to Syxsense Secure Admin users and includes full documentation of API calls with examples at https://api.syxsense.io/index.html. Administrators create a secure API Access Token. The token, which is unique to each user, can be cancelled or regenerated at any moment. Tokens can be locked to specific IP addresses, preventing communication from another source. As always, your data is safe in your own Microsoft Azure instance. GET and PUT operations are both supported. You can get whatever combination of device data one wants from any device or set of devices. Data imported into Syxsense from other apps is automatically saved in a custom field on each device (s).
Syxsense, a native cloud solution, modernizes on-premise solutions by centralizing company data in a single cloud console that can be accessed from anywhere. Managers may now automate reactions to security events and manage IT more reliably by employing the API to consolidate data and Syxsense Cortex.
