FREMONT, CA: “Stephen's years of experience and extensive operational know-how makes him a great fit as COO and for taking our IT services, and especially Overwatch, to the next level," states High Wire president and CEO Mark Porter. Stephen LaMarche has been promoted to the post of the chief operating officer at High Wire Networks, a prominent global provider of managed cybersecurity and IT enablement services.
"As cyber threats become increasingly more complex, we are seeing more clients adding Overwatch to their managed service deployments and new channel partners looking for a trusted solution to offer their customers. LaMarche brings over 25 years of executive leadership expertise for private and public organizations to the position of chief operating officer, including considerable experience in operations management, product innovation, sales and marketing, finance, and mergers and acquisitions.
LaMarche will oversee the operations of High Wire's managed IT service solutions, including Overwatch by High Wire Networks, the company's managed cybersecurity business, which has grown by more than 400 percent to almost one thousand enterprise clients in the previous year. The company's managed IT services are relied upon by prominent channel partners and multinational enterprises, including many Fortune 100 companies.
Overwatch's success has been primarily driven by the company's innovative MSP partner program, which has extended to more than 200 channel partners globally, and by the rising demand for more effective and easier-to-manage cybersecurity solutions.
Growing awareness of the benefits of operationalizing cybersecurity, which provides a more efficient and capable security infrastructure, is the driving force behind this need. When properly executed by the cybersecurity professionals at High Wires, such operationalization leads to a stronger security posture that is better prepared to counter more sophisticated and continuously evolving cyber threats.
High Wires' channel partners and expanding user base have embraced the company's defense-in-depth strategy, which includes the administration of numerous Overwatch cybersecurity solutions. This has caused customers to increase their financial commitment dramatically after their initial engagement. Overwatch's integration features make it possible for an increasing number of High Wire's customers to combine their managed endpoint services and other technologies into a single, coherent solution.
The entire solution enables users to reduce noise and give a review of just warnings and occurrences with high fidelity and high value. As a subscription-based service, Overwatch requires no initial capital expenditure and permits predictable deployment, maintenance, and scalability expenses.
“I’m excited to join High Wire’s fantastic management team at this pivotal stage of the company's growth and development, as demonstrated by the more than $19 million in backlog we are currently working to deploy for our customers,” states LaMarche. “I see our Overwatch-managed cybersecurity platform as being well-positioned for further market expansion as we continue to engage leading MSP partners and advance our strong sales pipeline.”
The global cybersecurity industry is expected to reach $376 billion by 2029, expanding at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.4 percent. The company's managed services address a global market projected to reach $680 billion by 2030, with a CAGR of 13.8 percent.
