Proofpoint Targeted Attack Protection scans emails for suspicious content, potentially malicious attachments, and URLs. Once identified, the results are automatically shared with Stellar Cyber. The Stellar Cybers Open XDR platform collects, normalizes, and analyzes Proofpoint findings and other collected data to provide a comprehensive threat picture. As security analysts conduct investigations, they can instruct integrated third-party products “ including Proofpoint “ on corrective actions.
“Email attacks remain the number one entry point into an organization, and the level of sophistication of these attacks continues to grow exponentially. We’re thrilled to work with Stellar Cyber on this strategic alliance to help customers protect against advanced email-based threats and unify their cybersecurity defense,” says D.J. Long, Vice President of Strategic Alliances & Business Development at Proofpoint.
Stellar Cyber and Proofpoint's alliance provides security teams an advantage over attackers, resulting in real-time threat signals being exchanged for proactive detection. It also helps correlate Proofpoint alerts over the entire attack surface, and automated response actions enable immediate threat containment.
