Springbrook Software Launches Mobile Work Orders Application To Simplify Government Field Work

Springbrook's Mobile Work Orders app will be fully connected with the company's cloud-based Cirrus Utility Billing technology, allowing field technicians to pick up and close requests in seconds.
Fremont, CA: Governments and public authorities, like any other aspect of society, are susceptible to technological disruption. Many of the issues that government agencies face today derive from the global Covid-19 outbreak. Frequently, government institutions discovered that adopting methods and strategies comparable to those used by industry and the private sector might learn to be more flexible and agile in their reaction.
As a result, they have had to deal with a faster rate of digital transformation. As a result, the IoT, AI, & digital twins are clearly on the strategy of governments and public entities, whereas they were previously only on the horizon.
Springbrook Software, a major provider of ERP technologies for governmental bodies, has released a new mobile app developed exclusively for next-generation fieldwork order administration. The app is powered by PUBLIQ software, which Springbrook recently bought, and will be accessible on the Google Play Store and Apple's App Store to be used on iOS and AndroidTM compatible tablets and mobile phones. Springbrook Software services over 2000 local government agencies in villages, towns, municipalities, fire districts, utilities, and cities in 7 nations around the globe.
Springbrook's Mobile Work Orders app will be fully connected with the company's cloud-based Cirrus Utility Billing technology, allowing field technicians to pick up and close requests in seconds. The software eliminates the need to keep paper records and call logs and return to the workplace for order changes. The app and Utility Billing share various data exchange points, including complete account and meter information, assignments, and photographs. Requests can be prioritized, categorized, and assigned to specific team members.
"Mobile Work Orders represents another example of Springbrook's mission to provide modern tools to our customers to manage their dynamic and rapidly changing working environment. By taking unnecessary travel, paper and manual processing out of the equation we are creating new efficiencies and relieving burdens from a local government agency's already stressed field workforce," says Robert Bonavito, Springbrook CEO.
