FREMONT, CA: Full-service sales and marketing agency in the consumer-packaged goods industry, Acosta, appointed Sharon Hart as its Chief Information Officer. Hart has over 20 years of experience and is an established leader in the consumer packaged goods and retail industry. She is capable of delivering omnichannel technology and digital solutions that will drive sales growth in her new position.

Hart recently served as CIO and Senior Vice President of Information Systems at Stein Mart, a national retailer with annual sales of USD 1.3 billion. During her period at Stein mart, Hart optimized the company's IT operational and strategic investments through a keen focus on business operations and growth. Her portfolio also included leveraging technology to transform digital customer-centric solutions such as endless aisle, mobile point of sale, and smart fulfillment. Hart also guided the efforts to implement a hybrid cloud strategy and created a cybersecurity roadmap.
Before Stein Mart, Hart worked at Petsmart for 15 years, eventually serving as interim CIO and Vice President of Information Systems, spearheading the transformation of numerous technology functions. She has also held roles at Accenture and the Department of Transportation. Hart earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics from the University of Texas and completed the Stanford Executive Program through Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
