Seekr Technologies Introduces The First Search Platform That Rates Web Content Using A Fully Automated Machine-Learning Method.
The Seekr Score evaluates each article's information quality and adherence to journalistic ethics. Title Exaggeration, Personal Attack, and Subjectivity are some of the principles.
Fremont, CA: Machine learning was initially designed to help make accurate predictions. Marketers, IT employees, and business people are among those who gain from technological advancements. With the help of machine learning technologies, these characters may make intelligent decisions and create new solutions or services.
Seekr, an online technology firm, debuted its search beta version today, improving access to credible information. The company offers an alternative to traditional search engines by providing objective results paired with comprehensive information analysis to aid consumers in determining the quality of the material. The site will first feature the Seekr Score, which ranks the quality of each news piece, and a Political Lean Indicator, which categorizes political news as of right, center, or left. Over time, the score will get expanded beyond the headlines.
Consumer rating systems exist in various industries; however, no one has yet developed a system to automatically evaluate the reliability of the information at the web scale. The platform was based on an independent index, leveraging proprietary Lite-Web Technology to connect news and the best web search results. It was developed over several years and packaged with long-tail search support from existing engines. It offers a one-of-a-kind score and filtering system that enables users to make informed decisions about what they consume, share, and trust online. The idea is to give both users and advertisers a means to evaluate all web-based content. To demonstrate these advanced capabilities, the company has created a new user interface focusing on clarity. Such an approach of design foreshadows the next generation of even more consumer-centric search queries.
"We believe that a user-driven search experience coupled with our content rating system is a step in the right direction towards reducing the distrust of online information that continues to grow among all democracies today," says Pat Condo, Seekr Founder, and Chief Executive Officer. "We want users to see all sides of an argument and have every source of information available to make their own decisions rather than having other search engines draw conclusions for them."
