Sabre and Hopper Expand Strategic Technology Partnership
Two industry leaders collaborate on future breakthrough tech and AI-based technologies to revolutionize the travel experience
Fremont, CA: Sabre Corporation and Hopper recently renewed and extended their long-term strategic technological collaboration.
Sabre had been a significant partner of Hopper's since 2012, assisting the firm in fulfilling its promise to save consumers time and money while making trip planning easier. Given their successful track record, the two organizations have agreed to strengthen their cooperation over the next three years by naming Sabre their major worldwide GDS and technological partner. Both sides have previously agreed on a shared framework and will continue to collaborate to improve the online travel sector and consumer experience.
Sabre is a significant technology and software firm that serves the worldwide travel industry, including airlines, hotels, travel agents, and other suppliers. The firm provides commerce, distribution, and fulfillment services to its customers, allowing them to operate more effectively, increase revenue, and give individualized traveler experiences.
Hopper is the world's most rapidly expanding mobile-first travel industry. The firm has created numerous innovative fintech strategies that allow clients to save money and travel more efficiently by harnessing enormous data and machine learning. Hopper Cloud, its B2B effort, syndicates its financial solutions, infrastructure, and agency content.
"Sabre believed in our vision when Hopper was in its infancy and has continued to support us as our strategic retailing and distribution partner since our beginning," said Fred Lalonde, CEO, and co-founder of Hopper. "Sabre's global distribution network along with its advanced shopping APIs and ability to find the lowest fare was the foundation that we built upon – adding our own proprietary AI-based solutions. Together our innovations have made Hopper the stand-out brand it is today. We look forward to our continued partnership with Sabre as we work together to achieve Hopper's next-generation services and solutions."
Hopper, the number one downloaded travel app in the United States, uses a wide range of Sabre technologies, like low fare shopping APIs, post-booking automation, and shopping analytics to deliver on their mission to discover the lowest tickets for users and help them save money. Sabre and Hopper are actively investigating the potential to co-innovate on the evolution of travel technology through Hopper Cloud as part of Hopper's strategic planning and growth on their long-term cooperation.
