Radius Care Brings New Offerings through Its Free Healthcare App for Medicare Patients and Their Families

Fremont, CA: Radius Care, a healthcare technology company committed to minimizing the burden of healthcare decision-making for Medicare members and their families has declared the next evolution of its brand, website, and user platform, MyRadiusCare.com. Through a data collaboration with Medicare.gov, the new website complements the company's expanded capabilities in providing secure medical records and personalized assistance to its members and their family care advocates. The company is now utilizing the additional, extensive data made available by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) as part of their significant initiative to allow select verified partners to access diagnosis and treatment data on behalf of Medicare members.
Radius Care is the only CMS-approved software that actively monitors a Medicare patient's health data and, based on anonymized outcome-based data from Medicare.gov, recommends the best-rated physicians, facilities, and services whenever their health profile changes. This is a real game-changer for Medicare members who are struggling to make sense of often contradictory information and their families' desire to collaborate on important health decisions in the absence of accurate health data.
"The care of many senior patients falls on the shoulders of an adult child who is often juggling a full-time career, their own children and personal responsibilities at the same time," stated founder Justin Huddy. "Radius Care provides them with a secure portal to see their loved one's health history to make informed decisions."
According to the CDC, over two-thirds of seniors in the United States who have two or more chronic diseases are also suffering from subjective cognitive decline (SCD), which includes worsening or more frequent confusion and memory loss. Despite these obstacles, seniors frequently search the internet for healthcare options on their own or rely on an adult child for assistance.
Radius Care has made this possible. Entering the patient's Medicare number is all that is required for Medicare members and their families to use the platform. Radius Care then connects to the patient's medical history and records in a secure manner, reviews de-identified data, and develops an accurate and comprehensive understanding of the patient's health concerns. The individual's complete medical history, medications, current conditions, and providers, as well as outcome-based recommendations for treatment, facilities, and providers in their immediate area, are populated into a cohesive profile that the member and their family care collaborators can easily navigate.
