Particle Expands Portfolio To Revolutionize Speed-To-Market For Cellular Iot Products

The full range of technologies offers a single platform for swiftly and reliably moving the next disruptor from concept to production.
Fremont, CA: The Internet of Things has altered how machines communicate with humans and other devices. Every minute and every day, the sensors that serve as the foundation for IoT generate massive amounts of data. Various enterprises and government bodies are implementing big data analytics and other smart technologies, which gets projected to improve communication infrastructure, which will then get utilized for lighting, parking, traffic, and trash management; citizen participation; and safety and security.
Particle, the complete IoT Platform-as-a-Service, has released a version of its new B Series hardware solutions, which will assist businesses in moving from prototype to production as rapidly and cost-effectively as possible. Particle's Supply Secure hardware portfolio, a new proactive program that refreshes and replaces old hardware with secured inventory that supply chain teams can reliably deliver to business clients, prompted the expansion. Particle's B Series family of devices gives product teams everything they need to start and deploy at scale, freeing engineers and developers to focus on creative, customer-facing, value-add product development under one IoT Platform-as-a-Service.
"The Particle B Series devices worked perfectly with our smaller infrastructure because it was a low-power-consuming device and could better serve our unique power constraints, enabling us to meet the price point our customers needed to deploy at scale," said Stephen Conley, President and CEO at Scientific Aviation. "The Particle edge-to-cloud platform took care of all the IoT infrastructure for us, allowing us to focus on the thing that matters the most: our products. Now, Scientific Aviation has scaled to monitor and manage our systems worldwide from a simple and easy-to-use interface."
The road to bespoke cellular IoT is fraught with complexity, such as carrier connections, hardware certifications, connectivity diagnostics, connectivity management services, device-to-network integration, and so on. Particle's B Series offers simple-to-deploy-and-configure cellular solutions, like the Boron developer board and B SoM, to not only solve these product development challenges but also ease the usually difficult IoT journey that products encounter while moving from exploration to scaling. Businesses can now bring cellular-connected products to market as rapidly as possible on a single platform, with all the tools, resources, and software they require accessible immediately.
