NPact takes over Blackbaud FIMS and DonorCentral NXT

The acquisition will enable NPact to allow its customers to migrate seamlessly to their foundation cloud solution.

NPact, one of the leading developers of grant and donor management software, has unveiled that it has signed a purchase agreement with Blackbaud Inc. that will result in NPact acquiring FIMS and the DonorCentral® NXT products from Blackbaud. A number of new development, maintenance, and support resources will be dedicated to both products immediately. NPact is committed to supporting and enhancing both products for as long as required.

NPact needs to expand its presence in the core foundation and religious sectors. This acquisition will allow NPact to provide customers with the ability to integrate and migrate quickly and seamlessly to NPact's Foundation Cloud solution. The combination of these two companies also provides its existing clients with a series of donor portal options and industry-leading accounting tools to support the organization's mission.

The NPact team is working with Blackbaud to facilitate a successful transition of the two products to NPact's secure independent infrastructure along with its in-house support services in the coming months. This transition will be guided and supported by the team at NPact in direct contact with FIMS and DonorCentral® NXT customers.
