FREMONT, CA: Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE), a master developer of awe-inspiring integrated entertainment resorts (IER) worldwide, declared the newest member of its executive leadership team with a strategic promotion to further enhance and sustain the brand's growth and development throughout the United States and internationally. Effective immediately, Mark Rosa is officially named as Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment to look after strategic business decisions related to technology across all MGE properties.

Mark Rosa, CPA, CIA, CISA, brings extensive technical leadership experience to his new position as SVP and CIO of Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment. Mark will be responsible for the strategic direction and vision of all information technology (IT) activities, including security, architecture, innovation, infrastructure, business process reengineering, application development, networks, and technology operations and support. In order to make sure MGE remains at the forefront of industry trends, Mark will have the duty to evaluate the relative impact of emerging technology on strategic business requirements and interpret their meaning for the senior leadership team. As a member of the senior leadership team, the CIO would also be giving suggestions and insight into current and forward-thinking technologies related to the company's competitive position. Besides, he will be responsible for developing, curating, and retaining a world-class IT team at MGE properties.
