Smartwatches are valuable tools for tracking fitness. They are equipped with lifestyle-enhancing features like pedometers that count the number of steps a user takes throughout the day.
Fremont, CA: A smartwatch is a wristwatch with a touch-screen that can connect to a phone via Bluetooth or WiFi. There are models that do not require a phone connection to operate. Smartwatches, like traditional wristwatches, display the time. A smartwatch, on the other hand, does more than just tell the time; it also has functions similar to a smartphone. Listed below are some of the key advantages of wearing a smartwatch.
Finding Phone and Key
Heading out for an urgent meeting or running late for a flight and you suddenly can't find your keys or phone - we've all experienced this before. With the "Find Your Phone" feature on smartwatches, you can quickly locate your phone within seconds. The phone will start ringing at full volume once you initiate the smartwatch's find my phone process.
To use your smartwatch to find a key, all you need to attach a specialized key finder to your key, install the key finder's app on your smartwatch and click on it anytime you need to locate your key.
Playing Music
You can play music with a smartwatch with or without your phone. Smartwatch users can play music with a smartwatch by connecting it to a phone and selecting music from the phone's music catalog. New smartwatch models now have a feature that allows users to play music on the smartwatch directly without connecting to a phone. With a cellular or WiFi connection, users can now download and play music on the smartwatch without needing a phone.
Fitness and Health
Smartwatches are valuable tools for tracking fitness. Smartwatches are equipped with lifestyle-enhancing features like pedometers that count the number of steps a user takes throughout the day. They also have a heart rate monitor for monitoring the heartbeat rate during exercises. Smartwatches provide other fitness and health tools, including sleep monitors for monitoring the quality and quantity of sleep a user gets, ECG monitors, and blood pressure monitors.
