Fremont, CA: LSQ, the largest working capital financing, and payments solutions provider, has acquired Qwil, a fintech business located in San Francisco that delivers early payments to employment agencies.
Qwil, founded in 2015 by Johnny Reinsch, Paul Tiplady, and Trevor Branon, provides financial tools and solutions to the contingent workforce sector. Ambrico praised the Qwil team for the technical connections and integrations they have established and views them as a good fit to assist LSQ in better meeting market demand.
LSQ was the ideal fit for Qwil CEO (and co-founder) Reinsch to continue what he and the Qwil team had pioneered and built with premier vendor management systems and managed services providers over the previous seven years.
LSQ is an industry pioneer and market leader in working capital financing and payments solutions. LSQ has been leveraging innovative technology, credit, risk expertise, and proprietary data for over 25 years to help thousands of businesses improve their working capital, automate and speed payments, manage collections, and minimize risk. Every year, they use the LSQ FastTrack technology to speed billions of dollars in payments to businesses and their suppliers, allowing them to acquire the money they require to expand and develop.
"Both Qwil and LSQ have a similar mission, which is to make access to working capital easier," said LSQ CEO Dan Ambrico. "Qwil has built a compelling embedded finance platform for the contingent staffing market, and that fits well with LSQ's strategic vision and the direction we're headed."
"There is a perfect combination of the great user experience Qwil has built with LSQ's working capital funding and payments management capabilities," he said. "I think those two things have powerful synergies and we'll continue to advance the integration work they've already done with their partners."
