Keyport's OmniFob to Simplify Control for Smart Homes
The all-in-one remote controlling solution will enable smart home owners to easily control their appliances, connected car, personal security application, and much more.
FREMONT, CA: The digital revolution has sparked a rise in the use of home automation in the last few years. Several organizations are offering smart home technologies designed to facilitate a connected ecosystem. To enhance the experience of smart home users, Keyport recently launched an all-in-one IoT smart remote, OmniFob.
The finger-sized key fob brings a standard keychain to life by offering quick and easy access to connected applications. OmniFob can attach to conventional keychains, and is compatible with all Keyport modular access devices, including Slide 3.0, the Pivot, and the Anywhere Pocket Clip.
Keyport, the pioneer of the universal access device with the Keyport Slide, is based in Las Vegas. It creates streamlined universal access solutions designed to accommodate the modern lifestyle. The Keyport products are designed to transform everyday carry essentials into customizable universal access multi-tools that integrate keys, tools, and smart tech.
The compact OmniFob remote offers quick and easy one-handed access to multiple connected functions, including opening the garage, unlocking the door, switching on the lights, starting the car, finding lost keys, calling for help. Also, it can easily attach to any conventional keychain. It enables the users to control a wide range of smart home devices, including garage doors using Nexx Garage, home security, smart lights, smart plugs, and so on. It is compatible with several popular smart home products, including Samsung SmartThings and Yonomi. It also includes scene support, which allows the one-click control of multiple devices at once.
Besides smart home, OmniFob also offers remote control of vehicle access via select aftermarket systems. It is compatible with MoboKey products, including DIY installed lock/unlock, remote start, keyless entry, and trunk. It also accommodates Blue Eclipse BluRemote offering control of OEM and aftermarket remote capabilities for cars, garage doors, and home security alarms, eliminating the need for professional installations.
The OmniFob is equipped with an in-built Bluetooth locator powered by the award-winning Chipolo. It can enhance the personal safety of users through its call for help features, especially when they are unable to reach their smartphones. It will send a preset message to relevant recipients, along with GPS coordinates if the phone is within Bluetooth range.
