FREMONT, CA: InComm Payments, a leading global payments technology company, declared a new partnership with Mom's Meals, a PurFoods company, to provide Medicare Advantage health plans with the option to allow their members to self-pay for fully prepared, home-delivered meals with their over-the-counter (OTC) benefit card.
Using this solution, Medicare Advantage health plans would be capable of providing their members with an OTC Network benefits card loaded with a monthly allotment that can be utilized to purchase Mom's Meals. Medicare Advantage members who have been helped through post-discharge plan-sponsored meals or chronic care meals supplemental benefit for a limited duration can now access healthy and medically personalized meals on a regular basis through their OTC card. In addition, Medicare Advantage members who do not qualify for chronic care or post-discharge meals benefit can now access delicious home-delivered meals.

Powered by InComm Healthcare's Payments Platform, the OTC Network enables consumers to utilize health plan-sponsored benefit and incentive dollars to purchase products and services from participating partners and retailers. The most recent addition to this program enables consumers to apply their funds towards home-delivered meals.
