Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) will have a transformative impact on the manufacturing industry. The products, heavy machines, and devices that did not have any connectivity will be interlinked. Data from multiple plants are also easier to control via the cloud. Information combined with analytics can provide organizations with refined insights and boost their overall performance and improve productivity. To take the complete advantage of IIoT manufacturers need an ERP structure. Flexible application infrastructures will replace old and obsolete mega-suites. Integrated ERP capabilities that can connect tools and process data across all areas are critical. Only by gathering accurate data manufacturing performances can be optimized.
