Rapid Response Queue assists hospitals and clinical labs in standardizing and automating high-priority operational workflows involving clinical data as the need for operational efficiency grows.
Fremont, CA: hc1, the leader in clinical insight, analytics, and precision health solutions, introduced hc1 Rapid Response Queue, a new add-on solution for hc1 Operations Management. The answer, which includes a built-in countdown timer based on real-time clinical data and response time thresholds, ensures that action is taken and completed every time. The customizable add-on is now available to all hc1 customers, new and old.
Rapid Response Queue assists hospitals and clinical labs in standardizing and automating high-priority operational workflows involving clinical data as the need for operational efficiency grows. To save time, improve collaboration and transparency between departments, and ensure that the patient support team focuses on the most critical tasks.
hc1 monitors for predefined thresholds, such as critical or urgent test results, by ingesting clinical and operational data. When a case is detected, it is automatically created and linked to the patient, ordering provider, and location. In the Rapid Response Queue, cases are displayed. Members of the patient support and customer service teams can use the queue to identify key information quickly, claim, work on, and resolve tasks and issues with transparency across multiple departments in the allotted time.
Finally, the hc1 Rapid Response Queue allows healthcare providers to:
• Increase clinical efficiency
• Using automation, you can standardize clinical practices while also reducing manual labor.
• Ensure critical response times are met to improve patient care quality.
• Work queues for service and patient care teams can be customized and automated.
"Our goal with this solution is to enable multiple teams to collaborate in a single system and ensure providers are notified of time-sensitive results so that immediate and appropriate care can be provided," said John Moyer, Product Manager of the hc1 Lab Insights Platform. "Rapid Response Queue will keep patients at the forefront of communication and tasks completed on time."
