Global Resale Acquires Tech Trade Partners

Fremont, CA: Global Resale, a leading global provider of lifecycle solutions for technology assets, has acquired Tech Trade Partners ("Tech Trade"), a privately-held company specializing in the acquisition, repair, refurbishment, resale and proper disposition of pre-owned and off-lease IT equipment.

Tech Trade, founded by Founder and President Tom Sager more than a decade ago, is based in the greater Chicago area. Tech Trade's services and solutions help organizations optimize their IT budgets and lifecycles by acquiring high-quality used equipment while also assisting lessors and corporations in recovering the most value from their end-of-life inventory.

Tech Trade's extensive talent pool and strong e-commerce capabilities will be strategically combined with Global Resale's wide variety of services and extensive remarketing relationships. Tech Trade will also give Global Resale a significant presence in the midwestern US. Following the transaction, Mr. Sager and the existing Tech Trade team will continue to lead the company. Mr. Sager is also expected to be promoted to Vice President, Recommerce and Channel Partners at Global Resale.
