Force Therapeutics Witnesses Record Growth in Case Volume and Provider Utilization

Fremont, CA: Today's healthcare industry trends include new technologies and solutions that address the needs for clinical diagnosis, treatment, and disease management. The global COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the development of technologies for disinfection, detecting disease spread, limiting transmission, as well as treatment, patient management, and immunization.
Force Therapeutics, the leading patient engagement platform and research network has witnessed record growth in the number of patients and providers utilizing its episode of care management platform. While the company's year-over-year case volume has steadily increased, the number of patients utilizing the Force Therapeutics Platform in 2021 increased by a whopping 49 percent. In addition, the company saw a 26% increase in the number of provider staff on the platform, who use Force to cut down cost and quality variations across key service lines.
Force was founded in 2010 with a primary focus on total joint replacement episodes of care. Its services are now available for all musculoskeletal diagnoses, including sports, trauma, spine, and non-operative musculoskeletal care, as well as bariatrics and cardiac care. The Force platform provides clinically validated, provider-recommended education and video content to patients recovering at home from injury or surgery.
ValueHealth. national ASC network and the recognized leader in Ambulatory Centers of Excellence (ACETM) with over 30 health system partners, for example, began utilizing the Force platform in 2017 to manage episodes of care for its total joint replacement patients. In 2021, ValueHealth will expand its use of the Force platform to include patients with shoulder, sports, elbow injuries, and those recovering from spinal surgeries – a 261 percent increase in overall case volume.
