Enefit VOLT Becomes a New Charging Network Using Driivz Technology

The Estonian government sold the nationwide charging station network to Enefit VOLT. The network was run using 2013 EV charging management software that was out of date.
FREMONT, CA: Enefit VOLT, Estonia's largest electric vehicle fast-charging network, has chosen Driivz, the leading EV charging, and energy management software platform supplier, to streamline network operations and provide EV drivers with exceptional EV charging experiences.
The Estonian government sold the nationwide charging station network to Enefit VOLT. The network was run using 2013 EV charging management software that was out of date. The chargers were not networked and were not compliant with industry standards; they frequently failed, and the driver charging experience was typically negative.
"We were looking for a vendor with a strong background across Europe and in the United States, and after closely evaluating a range of EV charging management platforms, we chose Driivz," stated Kert Pääbo, Business Development Manager of Eesti Energia, parent company of Enefit VOLT. "Driivz has proven to be a valued partner and a trusted advisor. They helped us migrate the old back-end system and implement a new holistic, robust EV charging management platform. Driivz also provided white-labeled driver-facing solutions that allowed us to launch the new Enefit VOLT brand at the same time."
Enefit VOLT offers smart electric car charging services to residences, companies, and parking garages. Estonia has been supporting electric car adoption for nearly ten years, and legislation compels Enefit VOLT to provide charge outlets no more than 60 kilometers apart throughout the country.
Enefit VOLT employs the Driivz operator portal to achieve operational excellence and assure charger availability and stability. This portal enables 360-degree visibility and insights into the complete charging network, drivers, and vehicles. Everyone from field engineers to call center operators may use the data to make real-time choices. The dashboard's analytics-driven insights enable managers to select the next areas of concentration.
