Confluera Brings Enhancements to Cloud eXtended Detection and Response Solution
Fremont, CA: Besides heavy cybersecurity investments in 2020 and in 2021, a recent survey tells that 78 percent of senior IT and security leaders believe their organizations are not completely prepared for a cyberattack.
Confluera, the leading provider of next-generation cloud cyber attack detection and response, brings significant updates to its flagship Cloud eXtended Detection and Response (CxDR) solution. The latest product update expands the cloud-native threat storyboarding capabilities of the company's CxDR solution to include support for Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Furthermore, this product update enhances the solutions' existing integration and support for Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other security solutions.
ConflueraCxDR, which debuted in July 2021, is the only solution to provide real-time threat storyboarding, providing organizations with complete visibility into any active attack progressions and helping to dramatically decrease the average industry time to detect and mitigate advanced attacks. Confluera customers can overcome the cybersecurity challenges of multi-cloud by expanding the threat detection storyboarding capabilities of its CxDR solution to support industry-leading cloud service providers, Microsoft Azure and GCP.
"Cybersecurity is the biggest concern for organizations as they expand cloud services and embark on multi-cloud deployments," remarked Sean Henry, Senior Manager of IT and Security Lead at Hitachi Astemo. "With their expansive and consistent security coverage across different cloud services, Confluera gives us the confidence and visibility to execute on our cloud strategy."
Confluera's latest product release, in addition to expanding cloud provider support, offers deeper cloud-native integration with AWS. The Confluera platform can now receive events and signals from AWS CloudTrail and AWS RDS, providing improved visibility and detection capabilities. The patented threat storyboarding capability has now been extended to the cloud API plane to detect sophisticated attacks. ConflueraCxDR has also expanded its integration with other solutions for maximum impact, including Devo's next-generation SIEM for cloud detection and Jira to allow for incident tracking ticket creation. Additional integration enables simple and accelerated security deployments with agentless monitoring of Windows workloads.
