Fremont, CA: CloudZero, a cloud cost intelligence provider, connects technical decisions with business outcomes to put engineering in charge of cloud costs. The CloudZero Cloud Cost Intelligence Platform, designed for software-driven organizations focused on increasing margins, unifies engineering and finance around KPIs like cost per product feature, customer, and development team, offering critical visibility to make smart business decisions.
CloudZero has started a new offering to accelerate cloud migration for customers participating in the AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) — available now in the AWS Marketplace. The CloudZero MAP Dashboard gives critical visibility throughout the migration process to ensure that infrastructure is appropriately tagged to take advantage of all available AWS credits and savings. CloudZero's existing value, which is to assist enterprises control cloud economics while empowering engineering to own cloud cost, is enhanced by the standalone service.

"The MAP Dashboard helps customers have a more positive, higher velocity, and cost-efficient migration experience," stated Steve Lewis, CRO of CloudZero. "As an AWS Accelerate Partner, we're committed to aligning our goals with AWS' goals — which starts with Customer Obsession. We're excited to make migration a better experience for everyone."
The CloudZero MAP Dashboard delivers otherwise difficult-to-find information regarding MAP workloads, such as a credit summary, asset inventory, and overall spend picture. Customers may quickly see how many creditable workloads they've tagged so far and predict how many credits they'll receive. Companies can also go down into each account or service to view the cost and discount associated with any specific job. Customers will never miss a MAP-eligible workload because of this visibility, and they will always be aware of their spending and discounts.
"We were able to migrate faster and more confidently with MAP visibility from CloudZero," remarked Gary McKay, director of agile service delivery at Somos. "It saved us from missing tags and losing out on AWS credits and allowed me to keep our executive team informed on progress and expected savings. In summary, CloudZero has given us more insight and control over our AWS costs, allowing us to optimize better."
