CloudJumper and IGEL have collaborated to facilitate secure and highly scalable cloud workspaces on any cloud, including AWS, private cloud, Google or Azure.
FREMONT, CA: CloudJumper is a Microsoft named Windows Virtual Desktop partner. IGEL extends next-gen edge OS for the cloud workspaces.
Both these enterprises have now partnered for a much more simplified management and deployment of cloud workspaces, including WVD workspaces delivered on the Microsoft Azure.
By leveraging the highly secure, adaptive Linux-powered IGEL OS, both the enterprises will be focusing on adopting multi-session Windows 10 applications and desktops. Also, both the companies aim at future-proofing existing cloud workspaces.
CloudJumper extends a much simplified and cost-effective way of implementing the WVD cloud workspaces. IGEL is confident that CloudJumper is the ideal partner as far as their attempts towards scalability on any cloud on any device are considered. The end-user computing solutions extended by IGEL are known for their simple and secure nature, which further enables existing cloud-powered workplaces to embrace any form of cloud technology for supporting varied business requirements.
By associating the Cloud Workspace Management Suite (CWMS) by CloudJumper with the IGEL Enterprise Management Pack Software and the Workspace Edition, enterprises can access a Cloud DaaS solution that is extremely optimized and ideal for varied types of use cases. The IGEL Enterprise Management Software comprises of IGEL Universal Management Suite (The IGEL UMS) and the IGEL OS.
The IGEL OS is a very safe Linux distribution having a negligible attack surface to fortify the enterprise against possible malware. Moreover, the IGEL OS extends more flexibility to function on any compatible 64 bit X 86 devices. As a result of this compatibility, it is feasible for the user to extend their end-point hardware investments. Additionally, by functioning in sync with over 17 diverse remote display protocols, the OS becomes the perfect option to access virtual environments of different types.
The CWMS would be integrated with IGEL’s UMS through a custom partition. The imminent months would see both the enterprises working towards co-developing total integration between IGEL OS firmware and CloudJumper CWMS.
