Cloudify Partners with Intel, AWS, And Capgemini Engineering to Offer an Agile First Approach to 5G and Edge Orchestration

This project saw this partnership deliver significant industry automation challenges in a real carrier environment in a matter of weeks, introducing new upgrades in a matter of hours, and replacing an entire 5G core between two different suppliers in a matter of three weeks
FREMONT, CA: Cloudify, a leading multi-cloud and edge service orchestration and automation platform, has declared a collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Intel, and Capgemini Engineering dedicated to streamlining the transformation process of telcos and enterprises to public cloud-based infrastructure utilizing open-source cloud-native and DevOps based architecture - also known as an agile first approach.
This project saw this partnership deliver significant industry automation challenges in a real carrier environment in a matter of weeks, introducing new upgrades in a matter of hours, and replacing an entire 5G core between two different suppliers in a matter of three weeks.
Aimed at both vendors and carriers looking to speed up their transformation into cloud-native as well as a public cloud by adding multi-Kubernetes cluster service orchestration, the results of this project resulted in a shorter time to market, a significant reduction in transformation costs, and future-proofing offerings for the next generation cloud era.
This project serves as a gateway to features that will be available in Cloudify version 6 (Q3 2021), including service orchestration for multiple Kubernetes clusters, support for Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS) and AWS Outposts discovery, as well as batch updates to simplify deployment and continuous update to a distributed cluster.
