CampusLogic Secures $120M Investment
CampusLogic, a Phoenix, AZ-based education technology company, raised a $120m minority investment.

FREMONT, CA: CampusLogic, a Phoenix, AZ-based education technology company, raised a $120m minority investment.
Dragoneer Investment Group made the investment. This is the first education investment for the San Francisco-based firm, whose portfolio includes many reputed technology companies and ones that went public, including Slack, Facebook, and Spotify. In conjunction with the deal, Christian Jensen, Partner at Dragoneer Investment Group, is expected to join CampusLogic’s Board of Directors.

Led by CEO Gregg Scoresby, CampusLogic offers resources and critical tools for the 15 million students who travel the higher education journey each year. The company currently serves over 750 schools increase retention, enrollment, and graduation rates with a platform, which includes a net price calculator, personalized digital communications, complete scholarship management, simplified financial aid verification, 24×7 personalized virtual advising, tuition and scholarship crowdfunding, and integrated data visualizations.
“With artificial intelligence, we can deliver automation that helps institutions improve processes and streamline workflows, paving a smoother path to student financial success,” said Gregg Scoresby, CEO, CampusLogic.
Over the years, CampusLogic has offered services to help students research and obtain loans, grants, and other financial support. In 2017, the company made its first acquisition, a college-cost calculator to help prospective students better understand the price and opportunities of different higher education programs. Two years later, the company bought a tool that helps students raise money to cover their tuition and educational expenses.
The company has also been selected as one of the Top 10 Artificial Intelligence Solution Providers for the year 2020 by Education Technology Insights.
