Bots On Rise: Developers Powered By Azure Tools
Microsoft launched Azure bot framework in 2016 which helped various companies to develop chatbots for multiple purposes. Microsoft made this bot service and cognitive language understanding service also known as LUIS for developers to build their custom models that can easily conceive people’s intention and have a natural conversation.
Humans can have conversations with this conversational AI just like messaging platforms like Kik and Facebook. The user can ask questions for which the bots will respond in a natural manner which gives an experience like talking to a human. Microsoft has developed various tools to assist developers in creating their bots. The bot framework is given flexibility, and the user is not forced to host on Azure making it convenient for developers working on other platforms. The bot service is part of a wide range of services provided by the Azure services. Developers can build applications with artificial intelligence underpinnings. The bot can be used on various channels and social media platforms, it can also be added to sites, pages or an app and design the user interface as per the requirement. The services are expected to reach additional regions. Premium channels will improve customizability and communication factors. The tools contain directories of sample bots that can help the developers in bot building, and the software development kit can be availed on Github under an open source MIT license. In the platform, bots are seen as applications, and digital assistants are seen as a new browser with intelligence incorporated in all conversations.
