BloxOne Threat Defense Provides Nearly 250 Percent Return on Investment

BloxOne Threat Protection has also reduced the security stack's burden by filtering out most of the events and threats before they hit upstream network security devices.
Fremont, CA: Infoblox, the leader in Secure Cloud-Managed Network Services, has declared the results of Forrester Consulting's Economic Impact analysis of BloxOne Threat Defense, which found the solution can increase customers' return on investment by 243 percent over three years.
Organizations are over-extended when it comes to securing their networks. The threat surface has grown exponentially as a consequence of the coronavirus shutdowns and the boosted adoption of remote work. Finding enough skilled personnel is a challenge as the industry continues to face a skills shortage even while malicious actors escalate cyberattacks.
In order to better understand the costs, advantages, flexibility and risk factors that influence the security investment decisions of organizations, Infoblox commissioned Forrester Consulting to perform a BloxOne Threat Protection Total Economic Impact report. The research found that, over a period of three years, BloxOne Threat Protection can:
Offer almost 20 percent of their time back to security operations teams and reduce SecOps effort on incidents by 34 percent by leveraging automation and contextualized intelligence to speed up investigations, triages, and mitigation, and decrease false positives that produced approximately $300,000 in estimated savings collectively.
Save nearly $500,000 by reducing the possibility of a content leak, blocking security loopholes, lacking other instruments, and using DNS to provide a fundamental layer of security to prevent confidential data from being exfiltrated or malicious code from being infiltrated.
Preventing efficiency losses of nearly 2,000 hours a year by more efficient malicious domain scanning, which saved nearly $200,000.
BloxOne Threat Protection has also reduced the security stack's burden by filtering out most of the events and threats before they hit upstream network security devices.
A director of security operations at an insurance company interviewed for the study said Forrester: "Our objective with Infoblox was about making sure that the network is resilient, making sure that we have very good visibility at all times so we can quickly diagnose and triage issues and be scalable. As we have growing environments and increasingly complex networks, their solution supports all our efforts to make growth of the business easier."
