Baffle's new Baffle Manager 2.0 provides users with solutions to enhance their data protection efficiently.
FREMONT, CA: "No company can implement or manage critical data protection on an application-by-application basis, especially with the explosion of a new generation of data-intensive AI application workflows," said AmeeshDivatia, CEO of Baffle. "Baffle is known for being the easiest way to protect data without application or code changes. Baffle Manager 2.0 makes enterprise-wide scaling and ongoing management even more automated with a single, redesigned UI that streamlines every aspect of data-centric protection across the ever-changing application landscape."
Baffle reveals its new data protection solution, Baffle Manager 2.0. The new solution features a new user interface and provides users with solutions that automate application data protection, analytics, and AI initiatives. It is difficult and time-consuming to implement legacy application-level encryption. The Baffle platform cryptographically protects data as it is created, used, and shared without modifying any code or application. The new features in Baffle Manager 2.0, such as the user interface, APIs, automation functions, and expanded integrations, allow users to create and manage protection policies, which can be applied to all cloud-native stores, legacy applications, and new artificial intelligence initiatives.

Baffle can be deployed in less than 30 minutes by users. As data, pipelines, and applications grow, Baffle automatically scales without adding additional operational management burdens to the data, security, or compliance teams. In addition to secrets and certificate stores, Baffle Manager 2.0 also includes Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication for easier deployment and enterprise integration. In addition, Baffle Manager 2.0's integrations can be used to automate virtually every action.
Baffle Manager provides a REST API for controlling, monitoring and configuring the Baffle Data Protection service. This includes managing keys, configuring access control roles, configuring service configurations, and encrypting, tokenizing, and masking data. Customers can utilize data security management tools to identify data that should be protected, implement encryption policies to keep the data protected and implement role-based access control policies to ensure that only authorized users can access the data.
The 2.0 version of Baffle Manager adds enhanced multi-tenant support for SaaS applications. It supports record-level and database-level encryption, providing tenants with the key to records stored within their databases or a virtual database. When AWS services fail in a regional region, multi-region support provides greater resiliency and faster recovery times.
