Asite Collaborates with Wales Government Firm to Leverage Its Functions to the Cloud

FREMONT, CA: AEDO centric cloud platform Adoddle, created by Asite, has been selected by the Natural Resources Wales (NRW) to streamline its processes using the technology. The collaboration is primarily aimed for the effective functioning of the Welsh Government funded Flood Risk Management Capital Investment Programme.
The past year NRW launched the Ystradgynlais Flood Scheme to reduce flood risk to homes and businesses in the place. A move to restock the Welsh Government Estate with 4.4 Mn tress has also been initiated. Headed by CEO, Emyr Roberts, NRE merges the functions of Countryside Council for Wales, Forestry Commission Wales and the Environment Agency in Wales, as well as certain Welsh Government functions. The company was formed in 2013 and now employs 1900 staff across Wales.
“The power of Adoddle App Builder is the main reason that is driving this project. Giving clients the ability to create a radically customized app within the cloud is what we specialize in and also getting from Adoddle” says Ritesh Narain MD, Asite India.
Popular among engineering and constructions firms for managing their capital investment programs, Asite’s Adoddle platform enables control of project data through centralized cloud repository. Allowing clients to customize the structure of their content with configurable workflows, Adoddle increases collaboration while reducing occurrences of rework or mistake. The platform promises time and cost savings by improving collaborations with suppliers, contract administrations, project forecasts, progress reporting etc. The Adoddle App Library supports collaboration features across the enterprise making it a full featured infrastructure lifecycle management platform in the cloud. The new Adoddle field app for smart phones addresses the compatibility of the platform with the BYOD trend.
The company was also recently approved as a UK Government G-cloud 7 supplier. G-Cloud is a government initiative that aims to provide a single repository of cloud-based IT services for use by public sector organizations.
