Artificial Intelligence The AI platforms employ the chat or text approach to engage with candidates, making candidate engagement direct and concise.

FREMONT, CA: The success rate of the Human Resources departments relies on indicators such as time-to-hire and cost-per-hire. To drive the efficiency of the recruitment process, organizations are leveraging emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) to reduce the time and cost of hires and ensure the engagement of candidates. The ways and means of communication between the people are continuously evolving, and companies are doing the same to attract top talent.

According to a recent CareerBuilder survey, 86 percent of the recruiters, and 62 percent of the employers agree that candidates drive the labor market. Almost 20 percent of the recruiters find it challenging to satisfy candidate demands, whereas over 73 percent of the candidates are passive job seekers. Also, the best candidates are available for less than ten days before getting hired.

The latest trends favor the candidates. Hence, it has become imperative for organizations to revolutionize their HR strategies. The traditional methods of engaging with the candidates through phone calls or emails can extend time-per-hire. The new trends, however, demand that the candidate engagement be direct and concise, with a personal touch.

Enhancing Communication

The latest AI platforms employ the chat or text approach to engage with the candidates. They comprise a suite of engagement models designed to provide two-way SMS, live chat, and conversational AI. The platforms enable the hiring teams to standardize messaging when sending out bulk notifications, or to personalize texts to create rapport with potential employees.

Integrating AI

Incorporating an AI/Human hybrid recruiting interface can assist the organizations in effectively responding to applicant queries. It can automate processes such as candidate screening, scheduling, and assistance. If the questions require additional knowledge, the AI can transfer the conversation to a human recruiter to enable seamless communication.

Many organizations, including fortune 500 companies, are employing Artificial Intelligence (AI) based communication platforms to engage with the candidates effectively. Candidates expect prompt and convenient correspondence from the recruiters, and this can be achieved through the integration of AI. As technology continues to witness growth, the capabilities of HR tech will also increase, providing the employers with enhanced flexibility and control to engage with the candidates and hire the best talent.
