Advanced Virtual Desktops with Mt. Rogers project
Gone are the days when people used the basic versions of windows or any other operating systems. Many changes have taken place in the desktop world. For example, the diverse operating systems cast by Microsoft rules the world with its uniqueness. In Windows 10, Microsoft introduced two new desktop types’ namely virtual desktop view and task view. During the initial days of virtual desktops, users found it unique, and the usage was at its peak within the short period.
Recently, Microsoft announced that virtual desktops along with Mt. Rogers Project would knock down the VR headset users. Microsoft uplifts every product and innovation as an example of productivity. Mt. Rogers is the new project specially enhanced to optimize VR headsets for VR displays respectively. Due to this project, the users will get access to their virtual keyboard from anywhere.
The virtual keyboard along with VR displays also help the user to gain multiple access using the VR headsets and displays. Microsoft, regarding the initiation of Mt. Rogers’s project, wrote, “The Mt. Rogers research project is focused on improving traditional productivity tasks in mixed reality environments. It allows users to put on a head-mounted display and surround themselves with as many virtual monitors as is useful.”
With traditional VR displays, users find it uncomfortable due to the poor vision and clarity. As the technological doublet, steps have been taken to unite two lenses of the display screen in a precise manner. It provides the people with a fantastic outcome of the videos that depicts using the VR displays and VR headsets. Even Google confirms that the use of virtual desktop support will soon arrive on Chromebooks too.
