Adaptavist launched its new North American headquarters in Toronto, Canada, increasing its global footprint and ability to support customers throughout the area with mission-critical consulting, technology products, and software services.
Adaptavist chose Toronto because of its diversified talent pool, economic development and stability, and expanding supremacy in tech innovation — Toronto is presently the world's fastest-growing tech market & second largest start-up cluster.
In addition to establishing the new work and innovation hub, the company plans to create up to 800 new jobs over the next five years and invest more than 50 million dollars to help incubate new start-ups, drive public and private sector collaboration, including nonprofit initiatives, and support academic and corporate R&D - all in an effort to foster business, technology, and community growth.
The first collaboration from the new Adaptavist North America headquarters will be with Ascent Soccer, a nonprofit organization with operations in Canada and the United States that provides scholarships to North American schools and colleges to talented young boys and girls in Malawi and Uganda, Africa. Adaptavist is donating 150,000 dollars per year for the next two years, as well as mentoring and digital support, to assist co-founder and Toronto native Adrian Bradbury in bringing even more scholars to Ontario.
Adaptavist's new offices can provide a world-class, hybrid work environment for its expanding employee base while also serving as an "innovation hub" for business partners, community groups, academics, and the arts. In addition, the building will include a designated space for displays and exhibitions and areas for skills-based training that will get coordinated with community partners.
