Acumatica Launches Acumatica 2019 R1 with Enhanced Features
Acumatica, a Bellevue, WA-based company that provides adaptable cloud and mobile technology solutions launches Acumatica 2019 R1 to increase the usability, and create more efficient customer experiences for the broad midmarket.
Acumatica has made many critical improvements to the Side Panel UI which displays a view of the details of a row on an inquiry screen without leaving that screen. The company made significant updations in the User Defined Fields by adding new fields in multiple forms in each of the modules. The Acumatica R1 offers new custom colors within the user interface (UI) that provides a company with the ability to specify the primary color displayed for central and branch locations to avoid confusion and human error. Additionally, Conditional highlighting Inquiries offer visual clues on rows or columns of a general inquiry.
Here are a few enhancements to the business application that the new Acumatica platform will be able to deliver:
Financial Management: Acumatica provides efficient support for different financial calendars, allowing companies with multiple legal entities within the same tenant to have different fiscal year-end dates. It also offers recognition of revenue from customer contracts, enabling its customers to have additional support for contracts with multiple performance obligations, including fair market value, re-allocation pool, term start/end dates, and pro-rated fair market value in compliance with ASC 606 and IFRS 15.
Project Accounting: The new platform offers multi-currency project accounting, which allows users to enter project transactions in different currencies and maintain projects in both the base currency and the project currency. Acumatica 91 also forecasts project budget by period, allowing users to compare actual project costs and incomes with the forecasted, original, and revised budget amounts for each financial period. The revenue recognition feature recognizes the revenue of a project when performance obligations are satisfied.
Warehouse Management System (WMS): Acumatica 91 provides WMS feature, which offers support for distributors, manufacturers, retailers, and e-Commerce firms to manage the operations like picking, packaging, PO receiving, putting away, transferring, and physical counting by using barcode scanners for medium and large warehouses.
