Accelo Inc, a global leader in operations automation technology for service businesses and team, launches Adaptive Project Management platform. This new approach amalgamates the top two popular methodologies- Waterfall and Agile- while also avoiding their respective drawbacks to assist professionals in managing commercial projects.
"As the largest employer in the US, and with their businesses built on client projects, it is time the professional service sector had an approach - supported by technology - designed specifically to help them succeed," said Geoff McQueen co-founder and CEO of Accelo.

Waterfall approach is known for building their work from NASA and other large scale projects. Updated twists like PRINCE2 have supported this model to stay relevant for many industries and which has been favored among project managers. However, the waterfall approach is stifling which in large part led to the development of the Agile methodology.
Agile came out as a solution for many failed software and business projects; it focused on providing flexibility and speed. While adopting this approach in many circumstances, it was also proven to be risky for businesses that use fixed value-based pricing as it places the commercial risk of projects that are running late or over budget onto the service provider.
Both the approaches have their set of pros and cons; neither of them solves the entire problem. Therefore, it is always suggested that professionals must opt for a hybrid approach explicitly designed for them. As Accelo launched its Adaptive Project Management, the platform is delivering according to the specific needs of its clients.
"With the newest updates, we aim to provide our customers with a system that truly works for them, not the other way around," said Hugh Cowling, the Product Quality Manager of Accelo. "We want our customers to feel heard, so we distilled their feedback to identify a key area for improvement: Acceleration of project dates."
Accelo has used the technology that integrates the third-party services for a seamless workflow and is being adopted by many SMEs worldwide to manage their client operations, which includes sales, quotes, timesheets, billing, and scheduling.
