To gain complete value from robotic software, organizations need to have profound knowledge of the tools and methods that enable faster deployment and quicker adoption of the large number of features available. A wrong decision can put a firm’s digital initiatives and even the basic operation of the company in jeopardy. This is precisely where NEOOPS brings its expertise to the table.
As a proven and certified Blue Prism Partner, NEOOPS’ team of consultants provides complete support to organizations that are looking to implement robotic process automation. From defining automation strategy, to implementing Blue Prism Robotic Software, and building robust robotics capability and its governance within organization, NEOOPS has it covered.
In an exclusive interview with CIO Applications, Jan Rapala, founder and director of NEOOPS uncovers several interesting insights about his organization’s technology consulting services and RPA platform, their unique value proposition, and roadmap for the future.
Could you talk about the idea that spurred the inception of NEOOPS?
Prior to NEOOPS, I worked in various outsourcing companies for several years. During that stint, I realized that there has to be a better way of handling those mundane routines and staff administration. I began to look at innovative technologies that could help people in their operations and make processes smarter. That’s when I found Blue Prism, a leading technology platform for creating Robotic Process Automation.
Back then, people barely knew about RPA because it was a really fresh and advanced technology. During that period, Blue Prism was the only company who provided functionalities and services related to RPA. We stroke lucky as we started off in the beginning of the RPA era and put this unfamiliarity to our advantage. Thus, we pioneered in the RPA market and helped customers implement robotics to automate the repetitive processes in their organizations. Post setting up NEOOPS, we partnered with Blue Prism, began through their platform, and expanded from the Czech Republic into entire Europe. In 2019 we entered the US market.
In your interactions with CIOs of leading companies, what sense do you get of the challenges they face now in the RPA solution space, and how is NEOOPS effectively addressing these issues?
Back in 2013, organizations or individuals were not aware of the RPA technology and needed to be educated on how it functions. Currently, as the market and the companies are evolving, clients are aware of RPA technology and its implementation in their operations. Rather than just trying a new technology, they now want to know the benefits that RPA offers. Earlier, the challenge was to explain about RPA to the interested companies whereas at present, it is all about how our solution is better than their existing RPA technology and how it could benefit them from a business perspective.

What differentiates your solutions from the myriad of RPA solution providers in the market?
There are numerous platforms that deal with RPA in the market. What sets NEOOPS apart is that we chose to focus only on Blue Prism and work with the platform to deliver our services efficiently. NEOOPS emphasizes on sharing the knowledge on RPA with their clients and teaching them to choose the processes for automation, the way it is done and how to run their organization by implementing RPA. Our priority is to make our clients self-sufficient to be able to run RPA in their organizations independently. Many competitors in the industry prefer providing their services for the long run, but we focus on making clients understand the intricate details of using RPA. Our expertise lies in providing the right track to process automation, project management, and technology.
In a nutshell NEOOPS can offer end-to-end solution from designing the operating model, governance, change management, process automation development for entire Blue Prism ecosystem, training; to providing Blue Prism licenses.
One of the major advantages that the RPA technology offers is a reduction in the time required due to the automation of the workforce for routine, administrative or mundane activities. There is a transparency in the tasks carried out through robotic technologies increasing the quality of processing. Due to ease of management and automation of the processes using Blue Prism, people are taking the new technology positively strengthening the dynamics in the organization.
Could you elaborate on a case study where NEOOPS has helped its clients overcome their challenges around RPA technology and attain desired outcomes with your solutions?
Our years of experience in implementing the Blue Prism robotic software, defining automation strategy and building robotics capabilities within organizations has made us the go-to RPA services provider today. We have worked with a host of renowned entities which includes clients from across the U.S and Europe from different industries incl. banking, automotive, logistic, entertainment, manufacture, retail, utility, BPO and SSCs. Some of the biggest names in the industry invest in our services because of our quality, speed and commitment which further adds to our credibility.
In our latest accomplishment, we empowered a prominent German multinational company with the Blue Prism RPA solution and helped them create a robotic center of excellence within the organization. They are automating the different processes within their organizations across the globe, decreasing the workload on their employees and increasing their profits. Today, their CoE teams operate within the Czech Republic, India and Brazil and they successfully automated their processes and functions independently.
What is the future course of action for NEOOPS? Any geographical or services expansion plans in the pipeline?
In comparison with big corporations, we are a small entity, and we want to keep our company reasonably small. We want to keep it that way so that we can provide the best people, talk to our clients directly to make quicker decisions and have management visibility over the RPAs. To complement the Blue Prism ecosystem we are growing our technology partners’ network. We are expanding our business into the U.S market and have opened our first office in Boston, Massachusetts. We continuously strengthen our ties with Blue Prism and intend to increase the potential of our RPA solutions by integrating tools that use AI, chat bots and NLP.
