One organization, a global industrial services company, faced invisibility, optimization, and traceability challenges when providing quotes and contracts to its customers. It was saddled with multiple legacy systems and still using manual spreadsheets to generate quotes for new business. As a result, contracts were issued to customers without the appropriate review or approvals, putting the company at risk and resulting in significant monetary loss.
To mitigate risk and protect the company’s bottom line, MRE built a centralized solution within Salesforce, optimizing a CPQ module and leveraging process approvals and integrations within their back-end system to pull standardized pricing products and contracts into the system to better manage product quoting. It also created standardized templates and formats for pricing, quotes, and approvals. As a result, all quotes and contracts follow a predefined process with executive approvals before they are submitted to customers. The solution resulted in a tighter, safer business process and significant improvement in revenue growth.
Another MRE client, a leading North American distributor of Electricity & Natural Gas, shares a similar success, partnering with MRE and leveraging Salesforce to optimize customer service calls. MRE built a customer-centric, A.I.- powered chatbot that verifies caller identification and helps their customers with common requests, such as paying a bill, checking account balance, or submitting a request for follow up. The chatbot enhances the company’s customer service and deflects about 10,000 calls from the company’s help desk monthly, saving the company approximately $30,000 a month from call deflection.
