We know how to evaluate risk and balance it against excessive costs in order to meet mission requirements
The broad range of comprehensive offerings that encapsulate solutions, services, and products like K-Max and expertise in upgrading capability within budget constraints, have helped Kaman to create track of success stories. In one of the instances, New Zealand Defence Ministry had to replace five SH2GI helicopters, which were being used for air time surveillance, fishery, patrol and disaster relief. However, the government sought greater interoperability with the new platforms for 10 new upgraded helicopters within stringent budget constraints. Team Kaman collaborated with the client and in short span of time, a successful flight of upgraded helicopter was secured. Eventually, the client had upgraded mission system for maritime patrol due to Kaman’s expertise in devising cost effective solutions.
In the journey so far, Kaman has created success stories akin to New Zealand Defence Ministry’s and its one point supply model ensures best customer experience. Usually, the complex world of aerosystem solutions proffers several challenges that range from technological advances to poor communication between contractor and customer. Kaman has integrated design, engineering and manufacturing efforts to stay ahead of its competitors. “We anticipate continued market challenges, we feel well positioned to improve operating performance,” concludes Neal J. Keating, Chairman, President and CEO, Kaman.
