To manage enterprise mobility, organizations need help understanding their current wireless networking systems in order to map a course for the future. ITHS’ Assessment Services helps determine a firm’s network infrastructure performance, and designs a comprehensive plan to improve network services and solve existing issues. The company is a corporate BICSI partner, and its staff of RCDD certified engineers and technicians maintain the highest standards of quality during installation. “Using Fluke Air Magnet and Spectrum XD allows us to perform complete heat mapping and spectrum analyzer when testing to help ensure that we design the right network for any environment,” remarks Michael Palmer, Vice President of Sales at ITHS. The onsite survey involves tests for radio frequency interference and identification of optimum locations for installing access points to deliver desired wireless network parameters.

ITHS installs over 20,000 access points in a year, the majority of which are in the hospitality sector. Hotels and resorts usually rely on prominent internet service providers for wireless solutions due to prior partnerships, but in turn, such network providers rely on ITHS for site surveys and design of wireless networks. “We don’t necessarily try to compete against other network providers; it is more of a coopetition,” adds Palmer.
ITHS’ extensive experience with network installation for large venues is apparent from its successful projects at Hard Rock Stadium, Beaver Stadium at Penn State University, Bank of America Stadium, AT&T Center, and Texas Christian University. ITHS does not “try to push a product,” it offers different network services tailored to specific client needs. Palmer states, “People keep coming back to us because they know that we are not going to oversell and, at the end of the day, our services result in a successful project.”
“We are constantly trying to enhance our services to better serve users,” states Palmer. With the help of its partners, ITHS is focusing on analytics to help clients manage their wireless networks more efficiently and enable monetization through 2 various forms of advertisements. The company will offer in-depth network analytics as part of its services the following year. ITHS also has plans to expand further towards the west coast to increase coverage of its support services.
